CC-Link Partner Association - Description and Activities The CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) is an organization of manufacturers of CC-Link compatible products and users of CC-Link technology. The CLPA oversees and manages the CC-Link specifications and promotes the worldwide adoption of CC-Link technology for network communications in industrial automation. The CLPA has branches in North America, Europe, Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore. CLPA-North America has application engineering personnel on staff to assist members in applying CC-Link technology. There are more than 3 million installed CC-Link nodes and over 700 members of the Association and more than 725 CC-Link compatible products on the market as of January, 2006. 



Vendor Support CC-Link support branches provide CLPA members with a range of services that include: - Distributing the CC-Link protocol specification
- Providing technical support during the design phase to members who incorporate CC-Link compatibility in their products
- Conducting CC-Link educational seminars
- Providing CC-Link conformance-testing of member products
- Issuing conformance certificates for successfully-tested products
- Listing and promoting CC-Link compatible products on the CLPA web site, in the product catalog and other publications
- Organizing working groups to improve the functionality and acceptance of CC-Link technology – Working Groups include:
Technical Working Group Marketing Working Group CC-Link Safety Working Group
- Promoting CC-Link and CLPA partners and products via trade shows, publications, seminars and the worldwide web
- Assisting potential members in the CLPA admission process
Trade Shows, Training and other Activities
The CC-Link Partner Association provides promotional activity at Trade shows and promotes the use of the CC-Link Integrated Networking technology through the use of operational demonstration networks within the booth at numerous shows across the globe.
The CC-Link Partner Association can provide on-site CC-Link Integrated Networking technology training to assist your Product Development team or to provide your Application Engineers with information on installing your product in a CC-Link application.
The CC-Link Partner Association can visit different CC-Link application sites to produce the CC-Link In Action Application Story Newsletter to promote your product as well as the use of the CC-Link Integrated Networking technology.
